The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital in critical condition
Albuquerque, N.M. – A pedestrian was hospitalized in critical condition following a crash that occurred on Friday in southeast Albuquerque.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the accident happened around 5:30 p.m. in the Walgreens parking lot near 2950 Central Avenue.
A 2005 Ford F-150 was exiting the parking lot when it struck the front end of a 2003 Ford F-150 in unclear circumstances.
The 2005 Ford F-150 then attempted to make a U-turn, drove westbound through the parking lot, and struck a pedestrian.
The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital in critical condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
