A 39-year Jacksonville woman who was riding in the sedan was killed in the accident

Jacksonville, FL. – A woman died in a crash involving a disabled vehicle on the Mathews Bridge in Jacksonville on Saturday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 4:56 a.m.
An SUV was disabled on the center concrete barrier on the Mathews Bridge when it was struck by a sedan.
A 39-year-old Jacksonville woman who was riding in the sedan was killed in the accident.
The sedan’s 33-year-old driver, also from Jacksonville, was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the accident.
