Las Vegas, NV – A 71-year-old woman is dead following a collision involving a Ford F-150 pickup and a 2006 Toyota Matrix Tuesday morning in the southeast valley, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The car crash happened at about 7:41 a.m. on January 14 at a private drive near East Warm Springs Road east of Burnham Avenue, according to the police.
MPD said the Toyota was traveling southbound on the private drive and as it exited the drive onto Warm Springs Road, it collided with the Ford.
The driver of the Toyota, – the 71-year-old woman – was transported to Sunrise Medical Center where she died from her injuries.
The driver of the Ford remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police said the driver did not show signs of impairment.
No additional information is available.
The accident remains under investigation.
