Tucson, TX – The motorcyclist who was killed colliding with another vehicle at the intersection of Aviation Highway and East Golf Links Road has been identified as 69-year-old Nicholas G. Jeffers.
Nicholas Jeffers was riding a 2018 Indian motorcycle on Golf Links Road when he entered the Aviation Highway on-ramp and struck a stationary 2018 Volkswagen from behind.
Jeffers was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Tucson, TX – A 69-year-old male motorcyclist was killed in a rear-end crash Friday afternoon on Aviation Highway in Tucson, according to Tucson police.
According to the Tucson Police Department, the accident happened on Friday, February 7, in the 3900 block of East Golf Links Road.
Police said a 2013 Volkswagen, operated by an 81-year-old man, was stopped in the gore area between two ramps.
A man was riding a 2018 Indian motorcycle on Golf Links Road when he entered the Aviation Highway on-ramp and struck the stationary Volkswagen from behind.
The rider, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, was transported to a local hospital where he was declared deceased.
The driver of the Volkswagen was not injured, police said.
Tucson PD said the Volkswagen driver was cited for stopping in the gore area.
Speed was also a contributing factor in the incident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
