Yuma, AZ. – A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Yuma on Wednesday evening, according to the police.
The accident happened around 8:21 p.m. on January 21 at the intersection of 24th Street and Parkview Loop.
Police said a 49-year-old man was riding a motorcycle eastbound on 24th Street when he crashed into a Jeep Wrangler that was attempting to turn left onto Parkview Loop.
The man was taken to Onvida Health and later airlifted to a Phoenix hospital with serious injuries.
The Jeep driver, a 19-year-old woman, was taken to Onvida Health, where she was checked and released.
Impairment was not a factor in the accident.
Police are investigating the accident.
