Yuma, AZ. – A man was injured in a motorcycle accident in Yuma on Tuesday morning, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened around 6:57 a.m. on February 10 on South Avenue 3E.
Police said a 21-year-old man was riding a Honda motorcycle westbound when he rear-ended a Toyota Scion that was stopped in traffic.
The motorcyclist was taken to Onvida Health and later airlifted to a Phoenix hospital in serious condition.
The Scion driver sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Police say speed was a factor in the accident.
Police are investigating the accident.
