Woman Severely Hurt in Crash on US-90 near Jim’s Fish Camp in Santa Rosa County

Troopers said the woman was driving a pickup truck when the truck left the roadway into the grass median and slammed into a wrong-way sign and the guardrail. The truck then rolled over and rested in the water.

Santa Rosa County, FL. – A 34-year-old woman of Pace was severely hurt after a traffic collision on Monday night in Santa Rosa County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 11:13 p.m. on December 1, on US-90 near Jim’s Fish Camp.

Troopers said the woman was driving a pickup truck when the truck left the roadway into the grass median and slammed into a wrong-way sign and the guardrail. The truck then rolled over and rested in the water.

The female driver freed herself and was taken to the hospital with severe non-life threatening injuries.

Troopers said a second vehicle crashed into the debris from the collision. The occupants were not hurt in the crash.

No other information concerning this incident was provided.
