Woman Killed, Man Hospitalized After Motorcycle Accident on Krome Avenue in Miami-Dade County

Two people riding on the motorcycle, a male driver and a female passenger were thrown out of the motorcycle. The woman was killed in the collision, and the man sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital where they were listed in a critical condition.

Miami-Dade County, FL.- A woman was killed and a man critically injured after a motorcycle accident on Sunday morning in Miami-Dade County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Krome Avenue on August 24.

Troopers said a motorcycle was riding south on Krome Avenue while a gray Chevrolet pickup truck was heading north on the same road and tried to make a left turn into the entrance of 500 SW 117th Ave. As it turned, the Chevy drove into the motorbike’s path and the two crashed.

Troopers said southbound Krome Avenue was blocked following the collision.
