Troopers confirmed a vehicle was stopped in traffic when it was hit by a pickup truck from behind pushing the vehicle into a truck stopped in front of them.

Jacksonville, FL. – A woman was killed, two men were severely injured after a chain-reaction collision Sunday night in Jacksonville, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 6:45 p.m. March 8, on eastbound Interstate 10 near U.S. 301.
Troopers confirmed a vehicle was stopped in traffic when it was hit by a pickup truck from behind pushing the vehicle into a truck stopped in front of them.
A 33-year-old woman from Lake City operating the vehicle was killed in the crash. Her passenger, a 43-year-old man from Lake City, a 24-year-old man from St. Johns driving the pickup truck that hit them were severely injured.
A 23-year-old man driving the second pickup truck and his 21-year-old female passenger were not injured in the accident.
All were wearing seatbelts apart from the 24-year-old man.
An investigation is underway.
