A woman was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center for treatment of her injuries
Oakland, OR. – At least one person was hospitalized with serious injuries following a Monday afternoon collision in Oakland.
The accident occurred around 1 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 just north of the Rice Valley Road interchange.
According to Oregon State Police, a Winston man was driving a pickup truck on the freeway when he crashed into the rear of a sedan.
A woman driving the sedan was injured in the accident and was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
