Police said a man was driving his vehicle on DuSable Lake Shore Drive when he lost control, struck a pole and the median.
Chicago, IL. – A woman was killed after a single-vehicle accident early Sunday morning in Chicago, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The deadly collision occurred at around 2:21 a.m. on January 18, in the 2500-block of S. DuSable Lake Shore Drive.
Police said a man was driving his vehicle on DuSable Lake Shore Drive when he lost control, struck a pole and a median.
First responders rushed a woman to University of Chicago Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The driver and three other passengers were transported to the University of Chicago for treatment.
It was not immediately known if citations or charges were pending.
An investigation is underway.
