Authorities said a 2023 Honda HR-V was driving in the area when it did not negotiate a left turn at the junction and the car swerved off an embankment and rolled into a canal.
Lake Worth, FL. – A 19-year-old driver was killed after a single-vehicle accident on Tuesday evening in Lake Worth, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO).
The accident happened on November 25, near 3475 Custer Avenue, just South of 35th Street.
Authorities said a 2023 Honda HR-V was driving in the area when it did not negotiate a left turn at the junction and the car swerved off an embankment and rolled into a canal.
The Palm Beach firefighters responded to the scene and removed the 19-year-old driver from the submerged vehicle. The teen was rushed to Wellington Regional Hospital where she died that evening at 7:48 p.m.
