Federal Way, WA. – A 21-year-old woman was killed in a car accident on Sunday, March 2, in Federal Way.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 12:30 a.m. on northbound I-5 near South 272nd Street.

Siham Hassan was driving a 2024 Mercedes GLS northbound on the freeway when she collided with a 2024 Toyota Tacoma driven by a 47-year-old Gig Harbor man.

Hassan’s car rolled multiple times and came to rest on its wheels while the Toyota Tacoma came to rest in the ditch on the left side.

Hassan, a resident of Federal Way, was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

More details about the accident were not released.
