Kirkland, WA – A woman was killed and three other people were injured on Sunday after a car crashed into a Kirkland Grocery Outlet, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just before 2:00 p.m. on August 31 at the Bridle Trails Shopping Center.

Police said a 74-year-old woman was driving when she smashed through the store’s front entrance.

The driver and two other people, a mother and her child, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the accident.

A woman identified as Sheila Stanton, a fixture in Kirkland’s volunteer community, was killed in the accident.
