Lynden, WA. – A Lynden school bus driver was killed in a collision on Thursday morning in Lynden.
According to Lynden Police, the accident happened around 8 a.m. on W. Main Street.
A white SUV was traveling eastbound on Main Street when it crashed into a school bus.
The bus driver, Annette Lyon, was killed in the accident.
The Lynden School District says there were no students on board at the time of the accident.
The driver of the SUV was transported to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center with unknown injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
