The deadly accident happened just before 3:00 a.m. on August 24 in the 1800 block of Eighth Street.
Jeffersonville, IN – The man who was killed early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Jeffersonville has been identified as 41-year-old Samuel Carlisle, according to the Clark County Coroner.
The deadly accident happened just before 3:00 a.m. on August 24 in the 1800 block of Eighth Street.
Authorities said Carlisle was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene.
Carlisle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police are looking for the suspect vehicle and driver. The vehicle could have front-end damage.
An investigation is ongoing.
