Pima County, AZ. – Several people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Friday in Pima County, according to the authorities.
The collision happened near the intersection of Alvernon Way and Irvington Road just off Interstate 10.
Authorities said six vehicles were involved in the collision.
Several people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The collision closed the northbound lane of Alvernon Way, the I-10 Alvernon off-ramp and westbound Irvington Road.
The collision remains under investigation.
