Phoenix, AZ. – A 68-year-old woman in a motorized wheelchair died after being hit by a vehicle last Thursday in Phoenix, according to the authorities.
The fatal accident occurred around 10:10 p.m. on February 12, at the intersection of 75th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard.
Authorities said the woman was attempting to cross eastbound in her motorized wheelchair when she was struck by a vehicle.
The woman was taken to the hospital where she died a day later.
The driver stayed at the scene after the accident.
Police are investigating the accident.
