Phoenix, AZ. – A man was critically injured in a pedestrian accident early Tuesday morning in south Phoenix, according to the authorities.
The accident happened just after 12:00 a.m. at the intersection of 24th Street and Broadway Road.
Authorities said the man was crossing the street when he was struck by a truck at the intersection.
It was unclear if he was in a designated crosswalk at the time of the accident
The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The truck driver stayed at the scene, was not intoxicated, and cooperated with the investigators.
Police are investigating the accident.
