Fort Pierce, FL. – A motorcyclist was killed after a traffic collision on Tuesday afternoon in Fort Pierce, according to the Fort Pierce Police Department.
The accident happened at around 3:15 p.m. on February 3 on southbound U.S.1 at Avenue M.
Police said a motorcycle and another car crashed in unclear circumstances.
The motorcyclist, a man, was killed in the collision.
The driver of the car, a woman, was transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries.
Police closed U.S. 1 from Avenue M to Avenue H up to a while before 5:00 p.m.
