The Macy man was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries
Miami County, IN. – A 61-year-old man died in a car crash in Miami County last week Friday.
According to the Indiana State Police, the accident happened around 12:30 p.m. on Mexico Road near Eel River Road.
A pickup truck driven by a 61-year-old Macy resident was traveling southbound on Mexico Road when the driver lost control and veered off the road and into a ditch.
The Macy man was found unresponsive at the scene and was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police do not suspect alcohol or drugs as factors in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
