One person was partially ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene
Mesa, AZ. – One person was killed, and two others were injured in a car crash early Friday morning in Mesa, according to the AZDPS.
The fatal accident happened around 5:10 a.m. on December 26 on U.S. 60 near Signal Butte Road.
AZDPS said a 1999 maroon Chevy SUV crashed and rolled over on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
One person was partially ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other people were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The accident closed eastbound U.S. 60 and was reopened around 7:30 a.m.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
