Joshua Dale Musick sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Deschutes County, OR. – Marvin Lee Cudd Jr., 76, has been identified as the man who died in a car accident in Deschutes County on Friday afternoon.
According to the Oregon State Police, the accident happened around 2:22 pm. on Highway 97 near milepost 164.
Cudd Jr. had been driving a 2003 Ford Taurus and was stopped on the northbound shoulder of the highway.
As Cudd attempted to cross the highway, his vehicle was hit by a northbound Chevrolet Silverado 2500, driven by Joshua Dale Musick, 43, of Christmas Valley.
Cudd, a Sunriver resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Musick sustained minor injuries in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
