Phoenix, AZ – A man was killed on Saturday in a two-vehicle accident in Phoenix, according to the police.
The fatal accident happened around 7:00 p.m. on July 12 near 35th Avenue and Camelback Road, not far from Grand Canyon University.
Police said a 28-year-old man was driving a truck westbound when he ran a red light and hit a southbound vehicle.
The driver of the southbound vehicle, a 60-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital where he later died. His name has not been released.
The 28-year-old driver stayed at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
The police are investigating the accident.
