The man was driving a pickup truck the wrong way when he collided head-on with a Honda sedan.

Los Lunas, N.M. – A 37-year-old man was arrested after a head-on crash killed a woman and injured her two children on Sunday in Los Lunas.
According to authorities, the accident happened in the area of El Cerro Loop and Sandhill Road.
A pick-up driver was involved in a head-on collision with a Honda sedan driven by 38-year-old Veronica Ferraro.
The man was driving a pickup truck the wrong way when he collided head-on with a Honda sedan.
The woman driving the sedan was killed in the crash. Her children, a 12-year-old and a 7-year-old, were critically injured and were taken to UNM Hospital.
The pickup truck driver had open containers inside the vehicle. He was taken into custody and charged with homicide by vehicle.
Police reported that the man had a history of DWI and other charges.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
