Las Vegas, NV. – A 10-year-old boy died after being struck by a vehicle on Thursday evening in Las Vegas.

According to the police, the accident happened in the 2900 block of Charleston Boulevard near Fremont Street at around 6:48 p.m.

The juvenile pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck in unclear circumstances.

The boy was taken to hospital where he died while receiving treatment.

Police do not suspect impairment was a factor in the crash.
