Kent, WA. – A man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Kent on Saturday night, according to the WSP.
The fatal accident happened around 11:46 p.m. on State Route 516 just east of Meeker Street.
WSP said a 55-year-old Kent man was on the eastbound side of the highway when he was struck by a vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
