Eugene, OR. – A driver was injured in a collision on Monday evening in Eugene.
According to the Eugene Police Department, the accident happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Garden Way and Commons Drive.
45-year-old Joseph Jay Sweat was driving a Ford Fiesta when he collided with an Acura MDX in unclear circumstances.
Sweat was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
He was cited for reckless driving and hit and run.
