Jaylen Brown Hospitalized, Hit-and-Run Driver Steven Frazier Charged After Crash in Indianapolis

Frazier reportedly stopped a white van on a side street and tried to fix a headlight that was hanging down before he continued driving. The white van had a dash camera, and it belonged to a company he worked with.

Jaylen Brown Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run Collision on East Washington Street near Sherman Drive

Indianapolis, IN. – 28-year-old Jaylen Brown remains hospitalized while Steven Frazier was charged in a hit-and-run collision on Friday morning in June, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

The accident happened in the 3600 block of East Washington Street, near Sherman Drive a while before 5:00 a.m. on June 27.

Police said Brown was riding his bicycle when he was hit by Frazier. 

Frazier reportedly stopped a white van on a side street and tried to fix a headlight that was hanging down before he continued driving. The white van had a dash camera, and it belonged to a company he worked with. Frazier did not report to work after the crash and has been suspended by the company.

Frazier was arrested and he will be held on a $60,000 bond. He is facing charges of hit-and-run causing catastrophic injury, criminal mischief and obstruction of justice.

Brown still remains at the hospital undergoing treatment.
