Sunland Park, N.M. – Graciela Citlali-Tonazin Sahs, 26, died after being struck by a car in Sunland Park on Thursday night.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened at Sunland Park Drive and Appaloosa Drive at around 10:45 p.m., according to the Mexico State Police.
Sahs and a man were walking in the area and were struck by a vehicle. The vehicle did not stop at the accident scene.
The woman died at the accident scene.
The man was transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
