Fort Wayne, IN. – A woman died after being struck by a car on Tuesday evening in Fort Wayne.
According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, the pedestrian accident occurred near the 1200 block of Coliseum Boulevard around 8:19 p.m.
A car was travelling southbound on North Coliseum when it struck the woman in a crosswalk.
The woman was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
