Flagler Beach Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on U.S. 1 near Palm Coast in Flagler County

Troopers said the man was riding his motorbike south in the inside lane when he crashed into debris in the roadway. He lost control of the bike, wobbled and was thrown from his bike and he landed on the roadway.

Flagler County, FL. – A 32-year-old Flagler Beach man was killed after a traffic collision on Wednesday morning near Palm Coast in Flagler County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at around 12:42 a.m. December 24, on U.S. 1, south of Belle Terre Boulevard.

Troopers said the man was riding his motorbike south in the inside lane when he crashed into debris in the roadway. He lost control of the bike, wobbled and was thrown from his bike and he landed on the roadway.

The motorcycle swerved off the road, across the west grass shoulder and into the woodline and struck a tree. The rider came to a halt in the outside travel lane of U.S. 1, just south of the motorbike.

The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time.

The man was killed in the collision.
