Phoenix, AZ. – One person was killed in a collision involving a Phoenix police officer on Thursday evening in Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Pinnacle Peak and Cave Creek roads at around 7:30 p.m.
The Phoenix police officer and another vehicle collided in unclear circumstances.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
The officer was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
