Four of the teens were taken to the hospital with serious injuries

Gilbert, AZ. – One of the teenagers who was injured on Saturday in a single-vehicle accident in Gilbert has died, according to the police.
The collision happened just after 10:00 p.m. on September 27 near Williams Field and Gilbert roads.
Police said a car, occupied by five teenagers between the ages 16 and 17, struck a tree.
Four of the teens were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The fifth teen sustained minor injuries.
The car driver, a 16-year-old girl, died on Tuesday afternoon, September 30.
Two of the other teens remained hospitalized.
Police are investigating the accident.
