Police said the 18-year-old male driver was driving a white Jeep Cherokee westbound when he allegedly lost control and slammed into multiple homes.

Park Manor, IL. – An 18-year-old driver was killed after their vehicle slammed into multiple homes in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side on Sunday morning, according to Chicago Police.
The accident occurred in the 100 block of E. Marquette Road at around 5:22 a.m. on January 18.
Police said the 18-year-old male driver was driving a white Jeep Cherokee westbound when he allegedly lost control and slammed into multiple homes. The homes in the 6600-block of S. Wabash Avenue were also damaged in the crash.
The male driver was rushed to University of Chicago Hospital where he died.
Two other Jeep occupants, including a 14-year-old boy, were transported to Comer Children’s Hospital with critical injuries.
According to police, two firearms were recovered from the Jeep.
No one else was injured in the accident.
An investigation is underway.
