Police said a Chevy Cobalt operated by the 23-year-old man slammed into a building and caused damage to several businesses including Whole Body Fitness, a personal training gym.

Portland, OR. – A 23-year-old male driver was injured after crashing into a building and damaging several businesses early Sunday morning in Portland.
According to Portland Police, the accident happened at 3:45 a.m. on June 29, at Northeast 14th Avenue and East Burnside.
Police said a Chevy Cobalt operated by the 23-year-old man slammed into a building and caused damage to several businesses including Whole Body Fitness, a personal training gym.
The driver was freed from the vehicle and was rushed to the hospital.
He is expected to survive, and no charges have since been filed against him.
Debris was scattered around the gym following the crash.
An investigation to determine if alcohol and speed contributed to the collision is underway.
