Peotone, IL. – A driver was killed after a semi-truck accident on Tuesday morning in Peotone, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident happened a while before 5:55 a.m. on January 27, in the area of 104th Avenue and Wilmington-Peotone Road.
Police said a vehicle and a semi-truck crashed in unknown circumstances.
One driver was killed in the collision.
Police closed the roadway from Center Road to Route 45.
An investigation is underway.
