Jonathan Glennie and Natalie Cabiad injured in collision on Colbert Road near US 2

Colbert, WA. – Curtis L. Chumbley, 92, has been identified as the man who died in a car crash on Sunday evening in Colbert.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened on Colbert Road near U.S. Highway 2.
Chumbley was driving a 2006 Toyota Tundra east on Colbert Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2019 Toyota Corolla traveling south on Highway 2.
Chumbley died at the scene.
The driver of the Corolla, 28-year-old Jonathan Glennie, of Nine Mile Falls, was injured and was taken to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center for treatment.
A passenger in the Corolla, 26-year-old Natalie Cabiad, of Spokane, was injured in the accident and was taken to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
