Cass County, IN. – One person was seriously injured in a car crash on Friday afternoon in Cass County.
According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on Southeast River Road near County Road 325 East at around 12:21 p.m.
A 2007 Chevy Silverado truck was traveling westbound on Southeast River Road when the driver lost control, drifted off the road, and struck some trees.
A passenger in the car had to be extricated before being taken to the local hospital with serious injuries.
The other three occupants of the car were unhurt.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
