An Infiniti sedan was travelling the wrong way when it collided head-on with an oncoming Hyundai Santa Fe

Carson City, NV. – Three people were injured in a car crash on Wednesday night in Carson City.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 8:15 p.m. on Highway 50 near Flint Road.
An Infiniti sedan was travelling the wrong way when it collided head-on with an oncoming Hyundai Santa Fe.
The collision caused a fire in the engine compartment of the Hyundai.
The woman driving the Hyundai sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
A juvenile passenger of the Hyundai was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
The Infiniti driver was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
