Buffalo Grove, IL. – An 80-year-old woman was seriously injured after being hit by a car in the Buffalo Grove area of Chicago on Friday morning.
According to police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Dundee Road at Lake Boulevard at around 11:55 a.m.
The woman, a resident of Wheeling, was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in critical condition.
The driver who hit the pedestrian was unhurt and remained at the scene.
