The deadly accident happened at about 1:00 a.m. on July 11 on 51st Avenue near Elwood Street south of Lower Buckeye Road.

Phoenix, AZ – A woman and her dog were killed early Friday morning in a hit-and-run accident in West Phoenix, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened at about 1:00 a.m. on July 11 on 51st Avenue near Elwood Street south of Lower Buckeye Road.
Police said a Toyota Tacoma was traveling southbound when it struck 29-year-old Brittany Geib, who was on the road with her dog, Dexter. The driver fled the scene heading southbound after the accident.
Geib was also hit by a second vehicle, possibly a Toyota Camry. That vehicle also fled the scene.
Geib and her dog died at the scene.
The authorities are looking for both vehicles and drivers.
