Bloomington, IL. – A man died after being struck by a car on Wednesday night in Bloomington.
According to the Bloomington Police Department, the accident happened around 7:10 p.m. on Veterans Parkway near Oakland Avenue.
The man was walking in the area and was struck by an SUV.
The man was taken to OSF Healthcare St. Joseph Medical Center, where he later died.
The driver of the SUV remained on scene and cooperated with the police.
