Tucson, AZ – A female rider died following a motorcycle collision in Tucson on Wednesday night, according to a report by the Tucson Police Department.

The wreck happened on Broadway and Arcadia Avenue at around 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, April 23.

Tucson police reported that 24-year-old Bianey Franco was riding a motorcycle west on Broadway when she slammed into an SUV making a left onto northbound Arcadia Avenue.

Franco was taken to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The SUV driver was uninjured and remained at the scene.

The authorities are investigating the accident.
