A witness told police, a marked Orlando police vehicle was stopped at a red light while traveling westbound on Hoffner Avenue. It then drove into the junction of Semoran Boulevard and hit the woman’s northbound Jeep.

Orlando, FL. – A 92-year-old woman was killed after a traffic collision early Sunday morning in Orlando, according to the Orlando Police Department.
The accident happened at about 1:45 a.m. on January 18, at the Semoran Boulevard and Hoffner Avenue intersection.
A witness told police, a marked Orlando police vehicle was stopped at a red light while traveling westbound on Hoffner Avenue. It then drove into the junction of Semoran Boulevard and hit the woman’s northbound Jeep.The witness said the police vehicle failed to yield right of way causing the crash.
The woman was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where she died at 6:59 p.m. Monday, January 19.
An investigation by the Orlando Police Department is underway.
