According to the report, a Ford truck and a Subaru SUV collided head-on after the Subaru drifted into the path of oncoming traffic at a curve.
Five people riding in the truck were airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities reported that three occupants of the truck were not wearing seatbelts and were sitting on the floor.
The WSP is investigating the accident.
