Troopers said a mother was putting her toddler into her vehicle parked next to a Jeep when the child walked in front of the Jeep. The Jeep then pulled forward to the right and struck the toddler.

Inglewood, FL. – A 3-year-old child was critically hurt after being hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of a Walmart in Englewood on Tuesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on November 25, at S. McCall Road.
Troopers said a mother was putting her toddler into her vehicle parked next to a Jeep when the child walked in front of the Jeep. The Jeep then pulled forward to the right and struck the toddler.
The child was flown to Tampa General Hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
The Charlotte County Fire and EMS and Englewood Fire also assisted at the crash site.
No other details regarding this crash were provided.
