Two people killed in a motorcycle accident on Highway 16 near Tremont Street in Port Orchard
Port Orchard, WA. – Two Salem residents died in a motorcycle accident on Friday afternoon in Port Orchard.
The double-fatal collision happened on Highway 16 near the Tremont Street exit at around 5 p.m., according to Washington State Patrol.
65-year-old David R. Smith and 68-year-old Vickie L. Carr were riding a motorcycle approaching the Tremont Street exit when they crashed.
The couple was killed in the accident.
Police say both were wearing helmets.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
