Reno, NV. – Two people were hospitalized after a pedestrian accident on Thursday afternoon in Reno, according to the Reno Police Department.
The crash happened at about 2:45 p.m. August 7, at Virginia and 3rd Streets near the Reno Arch and Eldorado.
Police said a vehicle struck a pedestrian for unknown reasons. The vehicle then slammed into Eldorado Casino damaging the building.
The pedestrian and the car driver were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Impairment did not play a role in the collision.
Investigators are working to determine if the driver had a medical emergency or the vehicle had mechanical issues.
