Police said a 65-year-old man was driving a black Chevrolet Tahoe out of a parking garage when he hit a blue Tesla and then slammed into the wall of the Fairmont Chicago hotel.

Chicago, IL. – Two drivers were transported to the hospital following a traffic collision on Sunday morning in Chicago, according to the Chicago Police Department.

The accident occurred at around 7:00 a.m. on September 7, at 200 N Columbus Drive.

Police said a 65-year-old man was driving a black Chevrolet Tahoe out of a parking garage when he hit a blue Tesla and then slammed into the wall of the Fairmont Chicago hotel.

The 60-year-old woman operating the Tesla and the man were transported to Northwestern Hospital for medical evaluation. The two patients were expected to be okay.

No one else was injured in the crash.

An investigation is ongoing.
